The ongoing conflict is taking an increasing toll on Syrian civilians. The UN estimates the number of displaced from their home in Aleppo, Hama and Idlib provinces has more than doubled to 120,000 in just one week. The 3 provinces are in the country’s northwest, where most of the recent fighting has been taken place.
