Free Syrian Army rebels have inflicted serious blows to Assad forces in Aleppo, taking over two important bases and releasing a large number of prisoners, reports posted by Syrian National Coalition forces indicate.

In this attack rebels used heavy weapons, tanks and supporting artillery fire. Assad forces clearly understand the strategic value of these two centers where the air intelligence forces had established a training center. Various types of heavy weapons also existed in these two base.

From the very beginning the rebels had advanced to destroy the two bases, and after two hours of excruciating fighting they were able to destroy 10 bunkers of Assad forces, forcing them to flee.
