Turkey: Ahmet Davutoglu assigned to form transition government

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has assigned Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu as the official in charge to form a transitional government.
This body will be responsible to prepare the country for early elections on November 1st. This date must be confirmed by the High Elections Council.
Davutoglu has five days to form his transition cabinet, including lawmakers from opposition parties and it will supervise the upcoming elections.
The six-week long negotiations between Davutoglu and leaders of other political parties to form a coalition government ended in failure.
