The Iraqi human rights minister Defends Executions

The Iraqi human rights minister in Maliki government defended the rise in the execution trend in Iraq
Al Hurrah Television cited M. Sudani, the minister of human rights in the Maliki government as saying that execution is legal, canonical and a deterrent move for criminals. He rejected the international cry to suspend execution in Iraq saying “it is too soon for cultural and human rights improvement in Iraq.”
