Iraqiya Coalition official spokeswoman Meysoun al-Damalouji issued a statement revealing a recent terror plot targeting Iraqiya leader Ayad Allawi and other leaders and members of this coalition, Aswat al-Iraq news agency reported.
This statement reads: “Various informed sources, whom there is no doubt in, informed Allawi of a new terror plot against him which was prepared by specific parties. The true target is not only Allawi himself, but political pluralism which is being targeted in such vain efforts to besiege Iraq.”
