Syrian rebels take over town of Murk in Hama Province

The Hama press center said the Free Syrian Army was able to take over the town of Murk in Hama Province after a series of clashes against Assad forces. These battles lead to nearly 25 soldiers killed for Assad and Lebanese Hezbollah forces, while 10 FSA rebels lost their lives.
The town of Murk is militarily important because it is located between Aleppo and Damascus and links the two provinces of Idlib and Hama. The Wadi al-Zeif and Hamediya base in Idlib are located near this town.
