Syrian rebels’ war room north of Homs issued a report saying its forces downed an Assad warplane in the skies over the city of Talbise.
The rebels were also able to destroy a tank and 23mm anti-aircraft gun belonging to the Assad forces west of Talbise.
Heavy clashes also erupted in the regions between many rebel battalions and Assad forces aimed at taking over the ‘Um Sharshuh’ area, this report indicates. This region is strategically important from a military perspective because controlling such an area will ease providing protection over the entire city.
