Free Syrian Army rebels in various areas of the country have inflicted heavy blows to Hezbollah and Assad’s Iraqi mercenaries. Activists report intense clashes between FSA fighters and Hezbollah agents south of Basr al-Sham in Deraa. Also, the FSA destroyed two tanks and Assad forces weaponry in the village of Barij near Aleppo.
In the town of Zobdani near Damascus Assad forces continued to bomb residential areas while at the same time intense clashes continued around the city.
The Hole district in Homs was the target of intense shelling by Assad forces. Furthermore, fierce battles erupted between FSA and ISIL forces near various areas of Deir al-Zur.
