Free Syrian Army rebel units near Damascus bombed and exploded a MiG fighter jet belonging to Assad forces inside a military airport, Orient TV reported on Tuesday, May 6th. This attack took place Tuesday morning a few hours after the rebels took over a weapons cache and a scientific research center east of the Damascus International Airport.
According to military sources nearly 70 Assad forces who intended to regain the lost positions destroyed by the rebels were all killed.
