INTV, 17 Oct 2013 – Free Syrian Army political-press coordinator Louie Meqdad said the Syrian opposition rejects participation by Iran in any conference.
Free Syrian Army joint command chief Salim Idriss has placed four conditions on taking part in the Geneva-2 conference. These conditions include: Assad having no place in any political solution in Syria; holding accountable those whose hands are drenched with the blood of the Syrian people; rejecting representation of any one whose hands are drenched with the blood of the Syrian people in the transitional government; and Iran not taking part in any conference.
