Following weeks of Syrian regime offensive and Russian bombardment against opposition stronghold in Aleppo, the Free Syrian Army fighters are now equipped with decisive Grad missiles that could become a game changer on the ground, German news agency Deutsche Welle reported Saturday, February 13, 2016.
Two Free Syrian Army (FSA) commanders told Reuters on Friday, Feb. 12th that these ground to ground Grad missiles are capable of change the balance of forces on the ground in Aleppo and give the an advantage over the Syrian regime forces backed by the Iranian regime mercenaries and Russian air campaign. These missiles are also capable of hitting targets behind the enemy front lines.
FSA commanders acknowledge that having these arsenals is considered pivotal in the fight against the Syrian dictator and can even be used in blocking Russian air aggression in Aleppo.
