
Assad helicopter gunships dropped two barrel bombs in eastern Deraa in Syria on the city of Nasib, resulting in the death of women and children, Al Jazeera reported on Tuesday. Moreover, the regions of al-Balad and Tariq al-Sad, and a camp in Deraa and a few other towns in this province have been targeted in these bombings.
Syrian opposition fighters targeted Assad regime positions in the city of Deraa and left dozens of Assad forces killed. In this attack the fighters used 122mm Katiusha rockets. These attacks are in line with the Southern Storm launched by the fighters 10 days ago.
Syrian fighters clash with Assad forces in Zebdani
More civilians have been killed following constant bombings by Assad forces on the city of Zebdani near Damascus on Tuesday, July 7th, Al Jazeera reported.
Furthermore, Syrian opposition fighters in recent clashes in this city killed 4 members of the Lebanese Hezbollah, including a military commander. Therefore, 11 Hezbollah members have been killed from last Friday.
The Assad regime has continuously used barrel bombs on Zebdani to gain control over the city, leading to bloody battles between Syrian opposition fighters and Hezbollah members.
