The anti-air defense system built by Syrian rebels themselves has been launched into activity. This system has to this day prevented Assad regime warplanes from nearing residential areas and followed them on radar, Orient TV reported.

Three years after the bombing of residential areas by the Assad regime the rebels have now established a defensive beltway with their hand-built missiles. This system is aimed at providing protection for residential areas.
