In Syria news the rebels were able to attack a number of Assad regime security bases in downtown Damascus by targeting them with Katyusha rockets and mortar rounds. These missiles lasted on the base of groups known as popular committees and a number of Assad elements were killed and injured. The rebels carried out their attacks under an operation called ‘Missile Barrage’.
