Syrian National Coalition President Khalid Khoja accused Russia of attempting to maintain Bashar Assad in power by striking civilians, adding Moscow’s objective is not aimed at targeting ISIS, Al Arabiya TV reported on Thursday.
NATO expressed concerns over Russia’s attack against areas controlled by the Syrian opposition and being far from ISIS positions. NATO called on Russia to focus its efforts on finding a political solution because supporting Assad will not help the crisis.
