Free Syrian Army rebels in a recent attack seized new sections of the first line of defense around the 61st Brigade command post belonging to Assad forces in Daraa. FSA rebels killed more than 40 members of the Syrian regime’s so-called National Defense force, with the body of a staff colonel commanding the anti-air cannons battalion seen among the dead.
The rebels also seized numerous military machinery and various types of weapons.
