In Syria news heavy blows have been inflicted by rebels to Assad mercenaries in the Qalamoun region and they have also managed to break the siege imposed in the Maliha area. The rebels in the Qalamoun front staged yet another attack and were able to take control over the al-Safa base near the Jaroud border area.
In this attack the rebels killed dozens of Assad forces and Lebanese Hezbollah mercenaries, including a number of high ranks being among those annihilated. The remaining forces fled the scene.
