In more Syria news, according to the Syrian armed opposition on Friday night they were able to shoot down a helicopter gunship belonging to the Assad regime flying over the Neirab military airbase located south of Aleppo.
The rebels used hand-made directed missiles to down this chopper. In this attack the 5 helicopter crew members were killed, with Colonel Youse Kheir seen among them.
