Syrian rebels in Aleppo staged a massive attack completely destroying a major Assad forces’ base in the old area of this city. All elements stationed inside the base were killed. Furthermore, in the al-Zahra region rebels clashed with Assad forces and advanced their positions.
The Assad regime responded by launching widespread bombings in this city, dropping barrel bombs on residential areas in Ashrafiya, killing at least 5 residents and injuring many more. These vicious bombings have created many completely leveled areas in residential zones.
