27 civilians were killed and nearly 120 others wounded, mostly women and children, as Assad’s forces launched a massive missile barrage on residential areas in East Ghute near Damascus, Al Jazeera reported on Wednesday, August 12th.
13 other civilians were killed, again including women and children, in yet another missile attack in the towns of Saqba and Hamurieh near Damascus. Dozens of others were injured. Reports indicate some of those injured are in dangerous conditions.
