Free Syrian Army forces have seized the town of ’Salmia’, a suburb of Hama during a military confrontation with Assad forces in this area.
According to Al-Jazeera TV seizing the Salmia military base is an important and strategic victory for the Free Syrian Army, because it is located on the Salmia-Hama pass, a lifeline for sending logistics.
The FSA forces were able to permanently remove 30 Assad forces including a brigadier general and collect one Tank and large amount of ammunition.
