Sunni insurgents have established peace and security in Ameriya, Baghdad, BBC

In a report about the Sunni insurgents in Ameriya district of Baghdad, BBC World Network reported: These insurgents are now fighting along with the US forces against the militias affiliated with the Iranian regime and Al-Qaeda. That is why relative peace and security has been established in this region which was once considered as the red zone.

Showing footages of the district, BBC added: These are Ameriya cavaliers and are numbered around 600. The US Army provides them with equipment and uniform and pays them salary. These forces are in charge of Ameriya’s protection.

Abu Abd is the commander of this group. He is considered a myth by the people of the region. The US forces are also satisfied with his cooperation.

BBC added: Abu Abd forces aren’t the only forces that have presence here; the US forces have command and hegemony over here. Although the Americans and Iraqi forces had come to this district and gone tens of times, but were not able to clear this region of terrorists. They acknowledge that Abu Abd has brought about this victory.
