On new chemical attacks by the Assad regime against Syrian cities, the US State Department said it has reasons to believe Assad forces have used toxic chlorine agents this month and the responsibility of the Syrian regime in this regard must be investigated.
State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said the US is negotiating with its main partners and the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons and sharing information on the events in Syria.
