The Secretariat of Iraq’s National Tribal Council  condemned the arrest of Sheikh Faisal Houm, a prominent patriotic sheikh in Diyala, reported Aswat al-Iraq News Agency.
In its statement, the secretariat of Iraq’s National Tribal Council added: With great regret, it has received the news of Sheikh Fasisal Houm’s detention. This act is an indication of creating a climate of fear intended to eliminate national and popular forces from the scene and force them to retreat. The statement reiterates: the council condemns this and all other apprehensions made during this period of time and calls for immediate release of Sheikh Faisal Houm.
