Sheikh Ali Hatam, emir of Iraq’s Doleim tribe, said in a recent press conference, “Maliki in the war against uprising provinces and targeting them based on their religion and the enmity against the Kurds showed he fully obeys orders from Iran’s supreme leader.”
“We call on Maliki to step aside and we are telling him: accusing Iraq’s Sunnis of terrorism, accusing Arabic and various neighboring countries of supporting terrorism, accusing our Kurdish brothers of harboring terrorism, and calling for the division of Iraq are all clear reasons showing his affiliation to Iran and focusing his activities to carry out their projects in Iraq, and the reason why he is fully following the supreme leader’s orders,” he added.
“This is a clear reason why you cannot rule over Iraq and because you are a threat for unity in Iraq and its security,” Sheikh Hatam continued.
