In an interview with Al-Arabiya TV, Sheikh Ali Al-Amin, Senior Mufti of Sour and Jabal in Lebanon said: Hizbullah is a tame of Velayat-e-Faqih, and the Iranian regime directly interferes in Lebanon through controlling Hizbullah, and wants to make Lebanon a ground for its influence.

Sheikh Ali Al-Amin said: What is happening in Lebanon is the outcome of Iranian regime’s meddling; basically, the Lebanon’s problems are not internal; we want separation of state from church and can not let Hizbullh challenge the whole country and the Shiites; all Shiites in Arab countries recognize their countries’ ruling and sovereignty, and not the political ruling of Velayat-e-Faqih; this is Hizbullah that by following Velayat-e-Faqih, has gone out of Shiite; what happened was an unlawful confrontation; Hizbullah made a great mistake.

The offices of Sheikh Amin have been armed attacked by Hizbullah after he condemned the Iranian coup in Lebanon. He said: I have been repeatedly threatened, but that won’t make me abandon my positions and principles.
