Sheikh Abdol-Malak al-Sa’di called on all Iraqis to rush to the support of Fallujah residents with their goods, lives and weapons, declaring this as religiously obligatory.
Iraq’s Al Rafedein TV reported the senior sheikh issued a statement saying:
“What Maliki is carrying out in Fallujah and Ramadi is a collective and sectarian killing directed by Iran,” he said.
The senior sheikh called for measures in defense of Fallujah residents, and the residents to defend themselves, especially the heroes of this city, the mosques, and … against the enemy’s attacks.
“What you are doing is amongst the largest religious and peaceful measures because you have been cruelled. Thus, be resistant and persevere, and know that victory will be obtained with resistance…” he added.
