INTV, 14 Oct 2013 – Senior Iraqi Mufti Sheikh Abdolmalak al-Sa’di warned of Maliki’s sectarian measures.
“Iraqi mosques are destroyed and burned down, mosque imams and those working there are killed. Known and secret prisons are full of youths,” he said in a conference on human rights.
“Government forces arrest women for the crimes of their husbands and/or sons. Executions based on cruel verdicts are issued by political courts that lack even the slightest justice and composure. Maliki’s government is taking up provocative measures to create sectarian warfare in Iraq,” the senior Mufti added.
