Anbar Province deputy council chief said a few days ago military operations has come to an end… however, the status on the ground shows is quite different and deadly barrel bombs are still being dropped by Maliki’s military forces on cities, al-Tagheer TV reported.
“Can Maliki, being the master of the Anbar Province deputy council chief, stop the attacks in Anbar without permission from Iran? Can he even stop one convoy and/or one battalion without orders from Ghasem Suleimani?” said senior Iraqi Mufti Sheikh Rafe al-Refaei.
“They are trying to maintain Maliki’s reputation in his failure in Anbar Province,” Rafe al-Rafei added.
