Jamal Mubarak, of the Egypt’s ruling party leaders and the son of Hossni Mubarak, Egyptian President, warned of Iranian regime’s meddling in the region.

In an interview with the French International Politics daily, he said: Egypt and Saudi Arabia, two big Arab countries in the region, try to return security to the region but the Iranian regime and its allies make obstacles.

Jamal Mubarak added: After the 2003 Iraq’s war, the Iranian regime extended its meddling in the Arab region and by taking advantage of then situation, used Iraq as a prolific land for its domination on the region. It extended its control over Lebanon’s Hizbullah. That regime also acted as a destabilizing agent for weakening the Palestine government and for strengthening Hamas.
