Saudi Crown Prince Amir Salman bin Abdul-Aziz met with French President Francois Hollande, emphasizing his country has felt the threat of terrorism from much long ago and has presented initiatives in this regard, such as establishing a center for the fight against terrorism and providing a $100 million aid to this center.
Francois Hollande stressed on strengthening cooperation for peace in the region, adding our joint priority is peace and security in the Middle East, especially since the Syria crisis has spilled over the borders and in Iraq a terrorist group has gone as far as establishing a state. He added Paris has decided to deliver humanitarian and military aid to Iraq, but this is conditioned on establishing an inclusive government far from division and chaos.
