Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa met with Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Saleh Mutlak during his visit to Iraq, al-Iraqiya TV reported.
Following this meeting Saleh Mutlak insisted on the necessity of a high participation of Arab countries in Baghdad’s upcoming Arab Summit, saying this act will provide high will and power for the Iraqi people.
“We discussed the Arab Summit to bring new energy for the people and country, and for Arabs to prove to Iraqis that they are standing alongside them with strength,” Dr. Mutlak added. “Iraq without the Arab people will be a weak Iraq, and the Arab people without Iraq will be a weak people.”
