Russian Premier Sacked Moscow’s chief negotiator with Iran

Sergei Kirienko, head of Russia’s atomic energy agency Rosatom and Moscow’s chief negotiator with Iran for nuclear issues, was sacked Monday by the prime minister, the government said on its website, French news agency (AFP) reported on Feb. 4, 2008.

“Under a February 4 decree, Prime Minister Viktor Zubkov relieved Sergei Kirienko from his functions as head of Rosatom (and) moved him to another post,” a statement said
