The Syrian Human Rights Observatory said Russian warplanes targeted a military base linked to US-trained Syrian opposition groups located in northwestern Syria.
Reuters reported this London-based organization said Russian warplanes targeted the base of a group called “13th Division” near the village of Khan Sheikhoun in Idlib Province. Two fighters were injured and a part of the base was destroyed.
The group itself said its base was completely destroyed a number of its members were killed. The members of this group were trained by the US, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
