Asharqiya TV reported: The US Department of Defense announced that the reduction of operations by the militias affiliated with the Iranian regime is due to discovery of their hideouts and there is no reason that the Iranian regime has reduced its meddling in Iraq.

Jeff Maurell, US Department of Defense press spokesman, said that after Basra operation, the government has taken more responsibility in prosecution of the special groups affiliated to the Iranian regime that led to considerable improvement in security matter.
