Rami Hamdllah elected as new Palestinian Prime Minister

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Hamas representatives elected Rami Hamdullah as the Prime Minister of the new Palestinian government.
“We have officially agreed with Rami Hamdullah as the Prime Minister of Palestine, and agreements have also been reached on a number of ministers,” said Hamas spokesman Sami Abuzehri in Gaza.
If the negotiations are completed the new Palestinian government will start its work on Thursday, AFP reported.
Fatah and Hamas reached an agreement last month to establish the transition national unity government until the end of this month, and hold general elections in November.
