In a statement US Forces announced that an officer of the Qods Force of IRGC who was part of a commercial delegation visiting the northern Iraqi city of Sulaimaniya was detained on Thursday, Al-Hurra T.V. reported on Sep. 20.

The US Forces detained the man at his hotel in Sulaimaniya. One of the detainees who is an officer of the Qods force has been involved in arms smuggling into Iraq.
