The Iraqi people’s demonstrations and protests against Maliki’s government continued in various cities throughout the country on Tuesday.
Demonstrators in Ramadi demanded Maliki’s overthrow and condemned the mullahs’ regime for its meddling in Iraq. Protesters were seen hitting images of Ahmadinejad with their shoes – the worst insult in the Arab World – and chanting “Iran, wait see, now the Iraqi people have entered the scene for revolution”.
In Mosul, following the attack on demonstrators based on Maliki’s orders, the Mosul Tribal Council issued a statement declaring when the Army attacks the people, it becomes a repressive, cruel and illegitimate entity.

Al Jazeera reported demonstrators said Maliki’s forces ran over three protesters with military vehicles while others were injured after Army troops attacked people with batons.
NINA news agency reported MP Mahma al-Khalil from Neinawa Province warned security forces not to attack demonstrators in Neinawa.
In Diyala Province, tribal sheikhs and dignitaries once again stressed on continuing protests and demonstrations until all their legal demands are met. Tribal sheikhs said over 100 military vehicles surrounded demonstrators’ tents in the provincial capital Baquba to disperse the protesters. However, despite the arrests and restrictions imposed, people continued their protests and rallies. One demonstrator said around 100 HUMVEEs began destroying the tents and attacking the protesters with electric cables.
