A number of Iraqi political leaders and Members of Parliament congratulated the PMOI victory in the British Court of Appeal and called it an important step in the path of Iranian people’s freedom:

In a statement, the Coordination Committee for Iraqi National Forces that includes Iraqi National Accord Movement, Conference of Ahal al-Iraq, the Iraqi National Dialogue Front and the Iraqi National Dialogue Council, welcomed the verdict of the British Court of Appeal and conclusiveness of the PMOI’s annulment off the terrorist list and emphasized that PMOI designation was a political and unjust decision in the framework of the appeasement policy toward the regime ruling Iran.

Dr. Adnan Al-Dulaimi, leader of Iraq’s Accord Front, in a message to the PMOI and the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) described the removal of terrorist tag from the PMO by the British Court a proof of justice, and congratulated this victory to the Iranian people and the PMOI and called this step a prelude to Iranian people’s freedom.

Dr. Saleh Mutlaq, leader of the Iraqi Front for National Dialogue, in his message to the PMOI and the NCRI, called the great victory in the British Court a victory for all people who seek emancipation and freedom. He stressed in his message: this great step will pave your way to reach Tehran imminently and will make it faster and more definite.

Dr Ussama Najafi (head of the Iraqi National Faction), Sheikh Khalaf al-Alian (Member of Parliament and Secretary General of Iraqi National Dialogue Council, Dr Mahmoud Uthman(the Iraqi MP from the Kurdish Coalition) and Kamal Hamdoun , the former chairman of Iraqi Bar Association , also , through separate messaged to the PMOI , congratulated the victory in the British Court of Appeal to the PMOI .
