
Dr. Adnan al-Dulaimi, leader of the Iraqi National Accord Front, Bassim Sharif, member of Iraqi parliament from Fadhilat Party and Osama Najafi, Iraqi MP from Iraqi National Faction, condemned the interventionist remarks of Kazemi Qomi, the Iranian regime’s ambassador to Baghdad.
The Azzaman daily wrote: In a telephone interview, Adnan Dulaimi called the Iranian regime’s ambassador’s remarks regarding the events of Basra and Sadr city and the Awakening Council Forces flagrant intervention in Iraqi affairs and said: The Iranian ambassador should not interfere in this issue, because Iraq is an independent country. He said the Awakening Forces are part of the Iraq’s Security plan.
Osama Najafi, Iraqi MP from Iraqi National Faction, asked for expulsion of Kazemi Qomi and closure of the Iranian embassy in Iraq and termination of Iran’s meddling in Iraq.
