In his propaganda Bashar Assad is claiming that all of Syria’s minorities back his regime. However, the people of Soweda have proved him wrong by supporting the Free Syrian Army rebels, Orient TV reported.
The people of this city are saying in the battles alongside Syria’s coastlines they are with the rebels, denouncing this claim by the regime that the minorities are with Assad.
According to dissidents in Soweda popular support has played a key role in these very important battles where the rebels have targeted Assad’s bases. This has escalated the spirit of the rebel forces and also shows that from the very beginning of the revolution to this day, the Syrian people from all walks of life have stood alongside the rebels.
