Popular resistance forces and Yemen National Army troops conducted a joint attack in the al-Jafina region, taking complete control over paths used by the Houthis to infiltrate into the Ma’rib front, Al Arabiya TV reported.
Meanwhile, intense clashes between Yemen Army and popular resistance forces against the Houthis have been reported in various areas south of the strategic Ma’rib Dam.
In recent days many areas of Ma’rib Province have been liberated by the Yemen National Army and popular resistance forces, including the strategic al-Jahili heights.
In the meantime, Arab coalition warplanes have targeted Houthis and Salah troops in the Jibil al-Nahdein regions, presidential buildings and special security force bases in Sana’a. A senior Houthi commander and 4 others were killed in the Harib region.
Houthis responded by launching artillery barrages on residential areas in Ta’izz, leaving 3 women killed and many other innocent people injured.
