In an analysis about the U.S. Senate hearing session on Tuesday, Al-Hurra TV stated that remarks made by General Petraeus and Ryan Crocker at US Senate indicate that Iranian and Syrian regimes are the main factors of violence in Iraq which, of course, the role of Syria is much less with respect to Iran.

Interviewing with this TV, the Iraqi analyst, Saad al-Hadithi said: “I believe that the talks with the Iranian regime on Iraqi Security have had merely protocol aspect; because Iran has taken no step to improve Iraq’s security. Stability in Iraq is not beneficial for Iran. This regime has been described by the United States as axis of evil.”
