People in Basra, Iraq’s second largest city, march against sectarianism

Al Sharqiya TV, 27 Sep 2013 – On Friday the streets of Basra in southern Iraq witnessed massive marches with hundreds of people taking part from all walks of life and across the province, chanting slogans against sectarianism.
People and tribal sheikhs of Basra chanted this province consists of all religions, and the sectarianism that they seek to spread throughout Iraq is a political sectarianism, not a social phenomenon.
