Former Lebanese Prime Minister Sa’ad al-Hariri in a recent Iftar (sunset meal) gathering amongst his supporters strongly condemned Hezbollah participating in the Syria war and other conflicts in the region, Al Arabiya reported on Sunday, July 12th. He also accused the Lebanese terrorist group of following commands and Iran’s religious projects ordered by Quds Force chief Qassem Suleimani.
In response to a speech delivered three days ago by Hezbollah leader Hassan Nassrollah where he said the path to Quds (Jerusalem) passes through Zebdani (a town near Damascus where intense fighting is taking place between Syrian opposition fighters and Assad’s forces), al-Hariri said the path to Palestine does not pass through Zebadani and Damascus. In fact, the path to Tehran passes through Syria and Iraq, and the path to Palestine definitely does not pass through Syria, he added.
