Iraqi Economy Parliament Commission Chairman Ahmad al-Alwani called on Iraqiya Coalition leaders to think of political alternatives, including exiting the government or other methods to weaken the role of Maliki and his government.
“The country is being summarized into a one-man, one-party rule,” the Iraqi NINA news agency reported citing a statement issued by al-Alvani. “This is causing the nation to return to the times of dictatorship and we will most definitely not accept that.”
“The Iranian regime has taken the upper hand in political and security issues, and it is supporting armed insurgents in Iraq,” he added.
