Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas declared after long discussions, Palestinians have decided to go to the United Nations on Monday and request from the world body observer-status membership recognition, Al Jazeera TV reported on Sunday.
“This is the first step in fulfilling all of the Palestinians’ rights,” President Abbas said.
The Palestinian Authority President also stressed the founding of an independent Palestine government with Jerusalem as its capital.
