With the signing of a permanent ceasefire between Palestine and Israel, displaced Palestinians are gradually returning to their homes in the Gaza Strip. This ceasefire also led to the opening of the Rafah crossing on the Egypt border, allowing humanitarian aid, including food stuffs and construction material to rebuild the destroyed buildings, be delivered into Gaza.
