INTV, 18 Oct 2013 – Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas met with Pope Francis I inviting the leader of Catholics to visit the sacred lands of Palestine.
Pope Francis in this meeting presented a pen as a symbolic gift to the Palestinian leader, wishing a peace agreement with Israel would be signed with this pen. In response to President Abbas’ invitation the Pope said he will visit the Palestinian lands soon.
