Riyadh Mansour, Palestinian Representative in the United Nations, said in an interview with CNN in response to a question that can Palestinian officials guarantee a ceasefire, said what we are requesting for is that can Israel guarantee to us the protection of 1.8 million people in the Gaza Strip because this is us who have suffered the most damages. We have nearly 10,000 killed and injured… therefore what do you expect us to do?! We have 240,000 displaced people, where are they to go!? The Palestinian people, especially those in Gaza, are seeking ceasefire and demand a dignified life.
